Hey all,
Can someone tell me if a unfired winchester 9422M with case...(not box and papers) Is worth 500.00?? I have a chance to buy one..Its the one with the WinTuff that looks Dark green and black??It may be the wincam?? Thks for any info..

Probably is. I am not as familiar with prices of them. I know my local shop has a regular 9422 in like new condition and they are asking $700. Since Winchester stopped making them prices have been high. The fact that it has the laminated stock could make it worth less, or more. I would personally pay less for it, but since there were fewer made that way it may be worth more.

Yeah, I think it is worth that much. Just saw one online new for $900. At any rate it would be such a sweet rifle. My dad has one in 22.lr, it is a great shooter. I would love one in 22 mag!

Thats what they are going for all right, or much more.

Be aware however, that by the time they got to making the laminated stocks & stuff, quality of the 9422 series was no longer what it once was.

The machinery that made them was nearing the end of it's useful life, and Winchester couldn't afford to replace it.
So they discontinued the 9422 & 9422M shortly after.

The best of the best were the earlier walnut stocked ones without checkering. Quality on them was beyond reproach.
