I saw a Winchester 94AE 44mag with Tang Saftey, 20 inch barrel, straight uncheckered walnut stock, in a gun store today for $529 in excellent and supposedly unfired condition.
I'm thinking that is a pretty good price.
If that is a good price, I'm wondering if I should get it? I had wanted a Marlin 1894 in 44 mag, but have not found one yet. This would be my first lever rifle, and I'm not sure if I would buy any more. (I'm more into Milsurp's).
Any opinions? Should I hold out for a Marlin?
