I just added .45 acp to my reloading list so I've started to buy large pistol primers. I notice that Winchesters say "for standard and magnum" applications where other brands have separate standard and magnum primers. Does this mean the Winchesters are more energetic than other brands' standard primers? Would that imply better ignition and more complete powder burn in lighter loads?
