Hi im trying to find out what year my model 70 was made in. The serial number is 802XXX Thanks everybody.

Ok now I'm confused. My mod 94 is #2758###. On another site, and the guy that sold it to me I was told it was made in 1964. Not that site says 1963. So...is it a pre 64 or not? Basicly, and I asked this on another post also, what by looking at it will tell me?

Ed, your Winchester Model 94 was made in 1964. The last Model 94 to be made in 1963 had a serial number of 2586000. Winchester began production in 1964 with serial number 2700000 for the Model 94. Hope this helps!

Need Help!

Hey folks, i have been everywhere online looking for the manf. date of my Winchester Stainless Steel high polished 12 Ga. Pump. It has chrome looking barrels and receiver. Not the dull finish. the serial # is L18608XX
If anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it.
