Saw a Winchester Model 06 22 cal. pump advertised as marked Winchester/Baco, Inc. The item is listed as manufactured in 1920. Very confusing, any help? Bumbles

Somebody is making that up.

FN owns Browning and trademarks Winchester from Olin.

The new rifles have --MADE IN USA* BACO INC. MORGAN UTAH-.

BACO = Browning Arms Co.

But there is no way a Winchester 06 made in 1920 would have today's roll mark on it.
