Winchester Model 25

These are for all practical purposes a no frills solid frame Model 12. Made in decent numbers '49-54. 12G 2 3/4" only, no ribs, a few barrel lengths and choke options.

(1) Does anyone have a by-year breakdown on production/serials?

(2) Mine is too nice to mod, so I would like to buy an additional barrel to cut and thread for insert chokes. Any leads on these?

Mine's a 28" modified choke, and when I do my part it's a squirrel killing machine.

Can't help with serial # info. My book doesn't list the Model 25 with year by year breakdown. It just says 87,937 total made between 49 - 54.
