You've gotten a fabulous deal in today's price world.

I've no doubt that the rifle alone could easily exceed the $1600. price, the scope would go over $700. I just two days ago sold a Redfield International rear for $227. in ebay and it was in rough cosmetic condition.

But all together it's got its best value so I wouldn't part it out.
 
With .22's having a good shooting gun is half the equation....the other half is quality of ammo. Using a top end target grade ammo (ie: Eley Tennex) or run ammo through a rim thickness gauge first to weed out the fliers, will tighten your groups considerably.

I occasionally shoot flies at 100 yards with 52's......sprinkle Coke or soda on a blank target and let dry...flies will be attracted to the dried sugar droplets. Bug blood will appear around the bullet hole if it's a direct hit.

Be careful buying these 52's....they can multiply fast a be quite addicting.
