Winchester model 69

Last weekend at the Reno show I picked up a rifle as a x-mas gift for my nephew... Price was too good to pass up but it is missing the bolt (stolen from gun at previous show). Refinished action and barrel with a good stock in need of refinish.

Any ideas on where to get a complete bolt for a Winchester model #69 (not 69A) in 22 lr ????? I understand that the model #68 bolt may work and that the only difference is that one is cocked on opening the bolt and the other is cocked on closing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Numrich Arms Gun Parts Corp is out of Win 68 and 69 bolts. Ouch.

You might luck up and find a 68 or 69 with trashed stock or barrel
still with a good complete bolt.

Just be patient and keep looking, is all I can say. I have done a few
"project" guns that way.
