I’m considering a WML system for my Winchester SXP Defender 12 gauge pump and am looking at Streamlights options. There are really only two requirements I’m wanting, a push button on / off switch (no cords) and a simple but secure mount. I’m also open to other manufacturers as long at the light is bright, well made, and that a mount can be had that’s simple and secure.

Kenk,
Here is my setup. CDM makes the mount and it clamps on any light with a 1” dia tube. I buy my CDM mounts through Mounting Solutions Plus in Miami. Good service and delivery and the CDM are good quality machined aluminum with hard black anodizing on them.
The light itself is a Streamlight Poly-Tac 600 lumen with a on/off push button at the back only. I’ve seen a couple of reports that this switch won’t take the recoil. I’m several hundreds round in and so far so good. 100 rds of that was heavy recoil buck/slug ammo.
What I really like is how low profile the light is to the barrel. It doesn’t stick way out like a standard pic rail mount. My thumb on the forearm is at the same plane as the switch. I move my hand about1/2-3/4” to engage the light. And recoil has not bit my hand yet.

is this the same Kenk from the 10mm forum??

hope this helps,
Steve
