Which is better deal for these two inexpensive 9mm 115grn FMJ rounds? Winchester White box or Remington yellow box UMC?
I personnally shoot more Winchester since it's readily available at walmart, but I sometime pick up UMC at shows. Any difference in accuracy or cleaness?

I've found UMC to be pretty dirty stuff. Not that cleaning is hard when you've got a hard-chromed weapon, but Winchester WB seems to be a little cleaner. As far as practice goes, I would rate them identically.

As always, YMMV.

I'm gonna agree. As for practice fodder I buy what ever is on sale for the cheapest price.I'm kinda spoiled since my Beretta's will digest anything!:D
Practice-Practice-Practice!!

I buy both and have found UMC to be more consistent and hotter.UMC has never caused a stovepipe in my 9's and WWB does about every 75 rounds or so regardless of gun being shot.;) UMC's 130gr metal case .38spl is a nice plinking round that outperforms any other "cheap" .38spl ive shot.

I get whichever is cheaper in 9MM at the time. I have used both with no problems so far. I think that the UMCs are also now available in the 100 rd box.

I've put about 500 WWB FMJ through my K-9 and not a single problem to date. I also bought the Winchester 115 gr JHP at Wallyworld box of 50 and they shoot fine as well. Never shot the UMC. I go with what's at Walmart.

I don't use UMC ammo anymore (at least not in semi-autos).

A few years ago, I was loading a Glock 26 magazine with UMC ammo, and a thin sharp, curved piece of brass lodged itself deep into my thumb as I pressed the cartridge into the mag. There were some brass shavings still attached to the cases of some of the rounds.

After that, I decided never to use UMC again. Although I will use it in revolvers if I can get a good deal.

In my experience the Winchester is the better 9mm ammo. 9mm UMC ammo is loaded to a shorter overall length than the Winchester, and it burns dirtier and is less accurate than the Winchester in my Glock 17s. You mileage may vary.

Just my .02,

I noticed at an indoor range, the UMC put out a lot more muzzle flash than the WinWB. Big difference when shooting in low light.

Daytime/bright lights, don't guess it really matters.
