I bought a winchester xpr on black Friday and finally had a chance to look it over last night. I had never held one before.
Pros:
nice smooth bolt once lubed.
Good safety blade-less trigger that is mostly creep and overtravel free.
Stock is much more rigid then most budget bolt gun s I have handled.
The machine work seems sound and well done.

Cons:
Adjustable trigger adjustments epoxied into place. And I mean lots of epoxy, poured into the hole after the set screw and all over the trigger. Took 10 minutes to get it off and out
Trigger didn't adjust down as light as I would like. 4lbs maybe.
The stock......it's rigid, but the pistol grip doesn't fit my hand very well (subjective) and good lord, why doesn't anybody think through comb height!? Yet another rifle designed to be used with a scope that doesn't have enough comb to position your head high enough for said scope.

I assume it will shoot on par with all the other bolt guns of a similar price point. As far as feel or build quality, it seems better than Ruger and savage, but not as good as xbolt or tikka. Which is about where it is priced. I don't think I would buy it again because the pistol grip just doesn't fit me right. It will eventually get traded away or restocked with a Boyd's. Unless it absolutely shoots the lights out, then it can stay. For $300 delivered after rebate it's OK, for anything over 450, I'd look for something else.
