AB221, introduced May 29, concerns hollowpoint ammo. Outlaws most possession of HP ammo with very stiff criminal penalties.

Please take a minute and write a letter or email to the committee members and encourage them to vote against this bill, while at the same time educating them why it is important to be able to use HP ammo for all types of situations, including safety.

The bill can be read here:

The argument against the bill is to point out that hollow point ammunition reduces the risk of over penetration reducing the rist to others and is therefore safer to use.

As posted above, this has zero chance of getting out of comittee, never mind being passed. It's pure political posturing, but is nothing to take seriously.

HSO seems to always immediately see the strongest point and push it, this is a must. While there are many reasons we can lobby to keep this Right, this is likely the strongest point and what will ultimately achieve our goal.

Keep up the good fight. As we all do.

Just another example of the total ignorance about a subject they profess to be wise enough to regulate. Ignorance should be painful.:banghead:
