Does anyone have any experience with Wolf pistol primers good or bad? They are a lot cheaper than the other brands. Also, does anyone know if they are sold in Massachusetts or New Hampshire?

Greetings,

It has been already asked tens of times aorund here.. :neener:

I used only those primers because they are the cheaper.
After more than 25000 used, none did not go bang.

Thank you

I have some but haven't used any yet. Yes you can buy them cheaper. I buy them at Graf's with a C&R license for $80.99 per 5,000. That's close to $16 per thousand.

I ordered 5000 Wolf small pistol primers from Powder Valley. Other than they fit a little tighter in my brass than the WIN primers I normally use, no issues (except in Seller & Belloit brass which has very tight primer pockets anyway, it takes more force to seat the primers).
For people with older brass with looser primer pockets this would be ideal.

All go bang on command.
Will be buying more.

Thought I'd chime in on the Wolf primer size.
I've loaded 1200 Wolf Small Magnum Rifle primers in LC 5.56 brass that was run thru a dillon super swage. These primers seat easier! I measured them and they are .0005 smaller in diameter than CCI Small Rifle primers. They are also .0015 shorter.
Haven't had any failures to fire.
Also ordered Wolf small pistol which I haven't opened, loaded or measured yet.

I've used a bunch of the Wolf LPP in 10mm, they went bang every time. Have 5000 of the SPP but haven't tried them yet. They run perfectly through my 650.
