What is different about Wolf's new polymer coated ammo? Has anyone tried any of their new ammo. what is your impression?

The new coating won't stick to those finicky AR chambers and gum them up. (I'm AR neutral but I had to :D)

it still won't outshoot Federal XM193 and Winchester Q3131A so it's not worth buying it.............

I tried a box of .45 and it seemed to cycle ok. It was just <cough> a little smoky <cough, cough>.

Looked kinda like blackpowder. ;)

K-Tel presents Ted Kennedy singing his greatest hits:

"Bridge over Troubled Water"
"Ebb Tide"
and "Baby You can Drive my Car".

I use it all the time in SKS's. Works great, no misfires, no FTE. It goes 'bang', the bullet goes downrange more or less where the muzzle is pointed and it's cheap. And I don't have to pick up the brass 'cause there ain't any. What's not to like?

Teddy Kennedy in a tux is still a fat drunk...just dressed nicer

The new polymer coated stuff is all I have ever run through my AK. I like it, but wish it was about 200fps faster and more consistent, but what do you expect for $80/1000

I've only shot about 100 rounds of it, through an SKS and a WASR-10, and haven't had any problems. I haven't noticed that it's any cleaner than the old stuff, but I also didn't think the old stuff was as dirty as some people have experienced. I'm not a good shot with iron sights, but I can usually hit a dinner plate at 100 yards with the Wolf from a standing position. Haven't tried any in my AR yet, but for the Combloc guns I think it's good stuff for the price.
