Won auction for an EMP on Gunbroker

I got a Springfield Armory EMP, on Gunbroker. Should arrive in my city by Wednesday. I will give my (less than professional) opinion of it after, and how well the first trip to the range goes. I hope it will be worth it for the cash I put down for it!

Well, I took the EMP to the range last night, and I left disappointed.

Well, it was because I ONLY took a box of 50 rounds with me!

Very well made. More accurate than I am with it, right now. No problems at all.

My brother was breaking in a CZ Rami, and I swear it seemed to have more felt recoil than my EMP. I'll have to forego any purchases for a while, though.

Is yours the 9mm or the 40? Has the 40 even hit the market yet??

I want(dont need) an EMP. I already have a couple 9s, was thinking bout something different on the next one.

It's the 9mm. But I would say, based upon how well the 9mm handles, the .40 wouldn't be a bad choice, if recoil is in question.

But thank you. Yes, it is a nice looking gun, and definitely my highest quality firearm to date. Sure, like you, I didn't NEED it, but acquired a "wild hair" that needed to be taken care of.

Guns are inherently female (for obvious reasons). Calling a gun pretty is acceptable.

Same with car/trucks/boats. That's what makes the truck nutz thing so confusing to me!

Awesome looking guns in my opinion. I have an EMP and could not be happier. Runs like a top. For folks who want to carry a nine, the EMP is a great option.

Agreed. The Mecgar magazines (mine came with three) are really nice quality. It's a fantastic looking gun, . . . . and now, I am going to log off my computer and go home to fondle it.
