thanks rice.....i looked at the med lux and i did like it, but it is only chambered in 7mm mag right now and i just had to have a 30/06....i too believe all guns should have a decent set of iron sights installed,even if you dont use 'em! i had dual cross-bolts installed,had it both pillar and glass bedded,the barrel was already floating.i ordered factory iron sights from cz and i'm waiting on them still...i also had a steel grip cap installed as well as an ebony forend tip. i decided to leave the cheek piece alone as it grew on me after shooting it some (much to rcmodels relief i bet!) and once i get the irons on her i'll be satisifed.
