:cuss:What is THE WORST??:cuss:. I don't mean like worst as in "Eh" I mean like you'd never own one or you'd be offended to receive it as a gift. My was a jiminez a buddy of mine had. I had more jams than smuckers. It was horrible. Now I know shooting is 99.99999% preference but I'd like to know whats the worst you've had.

"More jams than Smuckers." Good one.

I've never really handled a gun I hated. I've used guns of varying quality, but all were at least decent and functional. I guess the people I shoot with are just discriminating buyers. ;)

Some people may like High Points, but I shot one yesterday at the range just for kicks. Felt like I has holding a writhing lizard. It had no slide release, so you had to cock it back and let it go to chamber the first round out of a new mag. Not that its bad, but not something I like.

I really didn't enjoy shooting FNs Five-seveN. It felt plasticky. Couldn't hit target well with it either. The cost and scarcity of good ammo for it also hurt each trigger pull. I might not call it the worst gun, but where the shooting experience was so much lower than the expectations, rank it as worst.
Hi-point .40 sw, but what did I expect?
And the other one is that cheap .25 auto so bad I forget the name.

I was given a old Iver Johnson SAA in .44mag way back when i was about 17. I took it out to the pit (no ranges in those days, we shot in the foothills of the mountains!), and loaded it up. I pointed it down at the bank at a bottle and pulled the hammer back. I am GLAD i had good safety skills back them! As soon as I let the hammer go it went BANG! I never even touched the trigger. I tried again and it stayed back until I put my finger in the trigger well, BANG without touching the trigger!

After MUCH practice I could get it to stay cocked untiol I touched the trigger btu that was even iffy. I sold it and never looked back. I am sure some backwoods gunsmith made a HAIR trigger out of it.

Hi-point .40 sw, but what did I expect?

I figured I would shoot a few rounds through it just to try it once. I let the guy who owned it shoot my Glock 26 I had bought that morning to give him a taste of the good stuff and he offered to let me shoot it so I figured what the heck.

Kel Tec P-40

It's the .40 shoehorned into the P11, so...
what is a good platform for carry in 9mm, is just too much, in a too lite, too small gun.

It HURTS, feels about like getting hit in the hand with a ballpeen hammer, I can't do doubles or rapid fire, it will jam-- from me LIMPWRISTING, not a mechanical malfunction, it's a specialist gun, I'm sure you could, with effort and training, shoot it reliably, but it's the only gun I have had these problems with, and I'm not a pansy.

I don't blame KT for withdrawing it, I'd be frustrated too, if perfectly good guns kept getting sent back cause most people cant shoot it.

Haven't shot any that are BAD, just a few I didn't like that much.

First was a Kel Tec P3AT. .380 might not be big, but in such a tiny platform with nothing to hang onto... Felt like the gun was going to twist out of my hand with each shot.
So, I bought a PF9 and love it...

Second is Rugers Mark pistols. The Luger-like grip angle just doesn't agree with me. They shoot fine, just don't point well for me. So, I'm looking at the 22/45.

CZ 100 in 40 SW.

The trigger pull is so long that I'm still waiting for the gun to fire and I sold it 3 years ago.

And it was awfully light so recoil in the 40 was unpleasant.

From a company with so many excellent products the CZ100 was a terrible offering.

I know a lot of folks are going to shake their heads at this and think I'm a nut but...

H&K P2000 with the heavy LE trigger in S&W .40. Ugh.

I've never really shot any cheapo guns unless you count my Glock, :)

How about the worst gun I almost shot?? Guy at the range had a Taurus .22 revolver, don't know the model. He asked me if I'd try it and give my opinion if it would be a good pistol for his wife. (I'm female)
I couldn't pull the trigger! Honestly, it must have had a 34 pound trigger. The guy could barely pull it. Really.:what:

Mostly it has been range rental guns. I don't think our local range cleans them that often (like several thousand rounds or more between cleanings) and they seem to have problems. In fact, one day I used a range rental instead of bringing my own and just didn't like how the magazine kept popping out (polymer wrapped glock mag that needed replacing).

Worse gun I ever shot was a Taurus PT140. The first gen. Not the millenium.

The rear sight would twist out of alignment. Horrible horrible gun.

Terrible trigger. Mag would fall free w/o release. God I hated that gun.

Jennings 380....my first and last! The first box of shells, at about 34 rounds busted clean off gun and flew through the air!
(mind that was after clearing 24 jams) :cuss:

Was funny at the moment...but not really funny!

Jennings 22....Stingers will break em! LOL :uhoh:

Llama 45 .... Really liked this gun, however slide would lock at about 10 rounds! lay it down and in a few minutes it would let go! go another few rounds ...lockdown... repeat (I thinks it was a little too tight!)

Pistol that shot decent but I just DID NOT like was a highpoint 45!
Blocky! yuk.....traded it to a guy for a $80.00 drill press...still got the drill press! :)

Davis .380 ACP

Bought it one year for Christmas.

I swear I never made it through an entire 7 ( or maybe 8 ) round magazine without either a jam or the mag falling out of the gun, a serious piece of junk that one was....

Worst handgun I have ever shot? Vektor CP1

Worst handgun I have ever owned?

6343460830780675053abhq1im.jpg

expensive, lots of sharp edges, horribly painful to shoot (my sig P238 is way more comfortable and half the weight/size), nightmarishly heavy DA trigger, etc.

Had to be the Colt All American 2000. After every 5th or 6th round the mag would just fall out. On top of that you couldn't hit a fat bear in the butt at 10paces...horrible. And to beat it all I tried 2 of them with equal results.

Beretta Tomcat .25

Trigger sucked, it was horribly inaccurate, and it was unreliable to the point of being basically a single shot...total POS
