I have a police trade in 5906 that I love and ordered a 6906 from CDNN which I will pick up on Monday.

Any smith autos would be cool especially 3 gen.

Here is my 5906

It's interesting that the "Fire" depression on the frame of your pistol is not colored red; neither is mine.

CDNN Glass Beads many of the trade in guns. Somtime they miss putting a drop of red paint in the depression. A picture of my 6946.

Mine wasn't colored either after a few cleanings. My Department Firearms Instructor re-colored it for me.

I'm told that the ultrasonic cleaners many depts have in use end up removing painted markings. I never heard anything about CDNN refinishing guns before. I always thought, the bring them, price them, and turn the back around.

Soon as I remember to do it, I will find some red auto touch up paint or something like that to repaint it.

Unless someone has a better suggestion?

Anybody have an online source for a good concealed carry holster for the 6906? I can't find anything retail around here. Looking for paddle holster or small right handed belt holster.

Thanks,

patrick

I don't have a pic, but I borrowed my father-in-law's 5906 to qualify for my CHL here in Texas, it shot great; got a perfect score :D
