Would this be a decent scope for a Mosin-Nagant 91/30?

Right now I’m looking at a Pentax Gameseeker 4 - 12x40 mm Rifle Scope.

Would this be a decent scope for a Mosin-Nagant 91/30? Anyone have any experience with these. I really don’t know much about scopes, but the price is good and the reviews are mostly positive. How far can you reasonably shoot with a 12x zoom?

the only scopes I would get for a mosin, is the ones that look correct; any of the old posp type scopes. try my dude over here on gunbroker.
