I would not, but only because I do not have the funds. Having said that, a Combat Commander is my favorite handgun.
If I needed one yeah but I wouldn't buy just cause I had a holster nor would I buy a holster without a plan to buy the gun.Would you buy a pistol to fit a holster you owned? I have a very nice cross draw holster for a1911 Commander size pistol, but I do not own any Commander size 1911s. So, would you?

Well....I've bought rifles because I already had bayonets for them....so why not?Given that I tend to wind up with between 3 and 4 holsters for every handgun I own, yes, it's tempting to fill them all
I have managed to resist that urge somehow. Probably good as I have either five or six M-1936 flap holsters for 1911s.
I also have three dedicated Officer's Model holster--I'm not quite ready to go buy two more. Mostly. (I I saw one in electroless nickle . . . )
To the actual point of the post, no, I'm tolerant of having a bin of holsters and carry gear. Same as how I'm willing to try new carry gear, and keep buying it until I'm happy, too.
