Wouldn't it be nice if S+W or some other company would offer revolvers already set up for different competitions? I have a couple of revolvers that I use in competition but only after a few trips to the 'smith. After all look at the number of custom 1911 people, it wouldn't hurt to have a revolver guy would it!??!

Have you taken a look at any of their Performance Center offerings? I know someone who bought one of their 38 Super revolvers and it seems ready to go as is.

S&W Performance Center does a pretty good job. The versatility of the Dan Wesson makes it easily configurable for many competitions also.

But your point is well taken. Competion only guns would have some interest for me...
