I've been using WST for reloading my .45ACP with good results, and I'm about to start reloading .38 spl, but have yet to look into a good powder. Can I use the WST in .38 spl? I tried the winchester website, but it is down and being moved.
If not, what is a good powder to go to?

Sure can use WST, and here is a capture from one of their manuals.

It will be harder finding a fast-ish to middle speed powder that won't work depending on weight and intensity. I really like Bullseye and WW231 for target style loads, and when I want to step it up with lead 158 SWC's, find it very hard to beat Unique, and if ultimate speed is wanted Power Pistol takes the spot.

Chances are if it works well in .45 auto, it will work pretty well in .38 Special, at least in my experience.

Don't use AA#5 for light to medium loads on the 38sp. It is gunky.
I just tried Bullseye for some mid range loads and it works very well with 125gr and 148gr.
