WTK....Best Deal on .223

Looking for the currrent best deal on a case of 55gr fmj. FYI...I'm already 10-4 on the Wolf ammo at ammoman. Brand name not too important. Standard stuff, nothing fancy. TIA!

I'm in the same boat...it seems that Wolf doesn't feed right in my SU-16, so I'm looking for cheap .223. At ammoman.com, there's federal XM193 and Winchester Q3131A, both are 500 for $109 and 1000 for $199. I haven't ordered anything from them, or tried that ammo, but those two kinds seem to be what a lot of people shoot, and a lot of people seem to order from ammoman.

I'd do a search on here for ammoman.com, and for those two ammo types if you want more info...search for both M193 and XM193, and both Q3131 and Q3131A. Also, a site I found and read last night that taught me a lot is http://www.ammo-oracle.com/ .

I was at the local Gander Mountain and noticed they had the Winchester 223 55 gr. FMJ 50-round "Value Pack" for $8.99 each. That works out to $179.80 for 1000 rounds. GM will occasionally have them on sale for $7.99 per 50-round box, making them an even more attractive deal.
