Best Deal on .40 Ammo?

Who has the best deal going on .40 S&W, brass cased ammo? MUST be brass cased and reloadable, and 180 grain would be nice (but not required). I couldn't care less if it is ball or HP.

Right now the best I can find is Ammoman, with $219 for 1000 rnds, delivered, of 165 gr FMJ.

Anyone know of a place that can beat that?

Coronach, if you have a Bass Pro Shops near you they are running a pretty good deal on UMC ammo right now. 250-round mega pack for 41.88. It is 180-grain FMJ. The only other deal I have found that is close is the WWB at Walmart for 17.88 pr hundred. That is 165-grain FMJ. Hope this helps.

BassPro lists the 250 rnd Mega Pack as ~$54.00 ... I wonder if the sale just ended?

Wal-mart here sells 180gr Blazer brass for 8.37/50 here. I bought 200rds yesterday. I doubt they would have 1,000rds on hand at any given time but if its not needed like "now" i believe they will order for you assuming you arent a Wal-mart hater.

If you don't mind shooting lead rds, dicks's sporting goods sells the 180gr lead rd 225rd valu packs for $29.99 and, from others on this site i was told that they have coupons in the sunday papers sometimes for buy one get another half off. i have shot alot through my xd and they work great for me. hope that helps!

If you don't want reloads, Sportsmans Guide has Fiocchi 170gr FMJ reloadable brass for $162/1000.

I've shot a fair amount of this, it seems pretty hot, was reliable in function in several guns.

Fiocchi ammo = awesome stuff! Its accurate, consistent, and clean. Its also loaded a little on the hot side, but my guns digest this stuff just fine. I'm currently reloading the 1000 rounds of brass I have stockpiled.
