I am in search for a Glock 9mm (26 or 19- not certain which still). The local shops around Lansing seem to be rather high (ok very high). Would any of the MI THR members have a suggestion as to where someone could get a NIB Glock for a fair price? I’d much rather spend the money in state then via the internet. Thank you kindly!

While wanting to to business within your state is admirable, you'll save money doing business over the internet.

If you have a dealer whom you like and who treats you well, it's worth the additional cost. If not, be loyal to your wallet first.

My dealer went from being a decent place to do business, to treating even it's long term customers with a degree is disdain. My feeling is that if you treat me with respect, I'll do business with you, of not, I'll find someone who will.

Bud's quoted me $493 plus shipping for a G19; I'm guessing that shipping is about $30, so I'm figuring $523. Add my dealer's transfer fee of $30 and I'm up to $553 out the door.

Compared to my dealers price of $598, tax included, he wants another $45 over the internet price.

I haven't priced Glocks, but a friend recently bought a Marlin rifle from William's Gun Sight and he indicated that they offer very, very good prices on new guns. Dunno how much this guy knows about pricing in general right now in MI, but it's a neat store and worth looking into. I know for a fact they are about the cheapest for shot right now, so could be my friend is right on this one.

check out the firing line in westland on hix road. IIRC correctly thye had a G19 for $499. I didnt look close to see if it was used or new

Guns Galore, Fenton, MI was selling the standard Glocks (non-comp models) for $479. "C" models run an additional $50. All the same, Guns Galore is consistently the least expensive (in my experience).

Purchase a glock 26 or 19

I just purchased a 26 from Top Gun Shooting Sports in Taylor, Michigan for $519.00 plus tax. They also have glock 19's.

Let me make a few suggestions, 1 check out MichiganGunOwners.org
2 would be to check with Dave Nickols at Mid Michigan Guns and Gear in Bath MI and 3 is to check Duncans in Bay City MI.
Just a heads up, Mid Michigan Guns and Gear is a very small store and have mostly used firearms but Dave can order just about anything you want. If you want to go but it right now then take the hour and a half drive to Bay City and go to Ducans.
They to have a small store but a huge selection of pistols and lots of glocks. I live in South Lansing and bought my last pistol there, I got a beretta px4 leo package(trijicons and an extra mag) from them for much less expensive then the local dealers here in lansing could get the civillian model for so I say check them out first.
