Very interesting reading, thanks! I'm in possession of one of these weapons. It passes all these tests for authenticity as well as was checked by a gun smith with simular results.(this particular gun smith was a former paratrooper and involved in WWII reinactment groups..) Not sure if I want to keep the weapon or sell; any thoughts on best way of selling? I've visited many web sights with M1A1 Paratrooper carbines being sold on auctions. Is that the best option? I'm fairly new to these sights, but very interested. Thanks again!

I will try to get some better pics up ASAP so that you guys can better help me....if you don't think it's a real m1a1 now ,wait till you hear how i acquired it:p
Ok, I dunno about anyone else but I'm done waiting to hear how you aquired it. You gonna tell?
