On a semi-related topic, I was going to order some from X-treme bullets, but when I saw that Powder Valley has 230 JHP bullets for a mere $8 more ($72/500) I went that direction instead. Just thought I'd mention it since I felt it was a good deal.

$72/500 isint bad but xtreme also has "free" shipping. 72$ for 230 jhp is pretty good though.

The X-treme bullets are beautiful. Mine arrived the other day. Impressive to look at. Now I have to load them up and see how they shoot.

I shoot about 500 of them a month. I have zero complaints about them, but I also don't have any other plated lead bullets to compare them to. They have a slightly "pointier" profile than the zero FMJs I used in the past. I load them over 5.0 grains of 700x or 6 grains of unique. Very consistent from my experience

I squeeked in an order of 1000 the last day of the sale. Even if you pay the current non-sale price, it's still less than they were a few months back. They generally dropped their prices

I've got plenty of bullets, and powder, where I'm lacking is in primers!
i'm the opposite. i can't find the right powder anywhere here.

still waiting if they have another 15% off copper stuff...

I bought 1,000 Xtreme 110 grn plated Carbine bullets, from TJ Conevera, and loaded 50 of them up with 13.5grns of IMR4227 to see how they'd shoot. Bore sighted the Carbine in @ 75 ft. The first three rounds, using the new scope mounted on it, put all three rounds overlaping each other...looked like Micky Mouse. As far as I'M concerned, Xtreme makes a VERY fine bullet.
