XDm for SR9C

A guy on my crew is offering a trade of some cash and a Ruger SR9C for my full size XDm 40. Both the guns come are equiped equally I think its a fair trade with a little money involved on his part. I like the way the ruger feels im my hand and I've never been a huge fan on my XDm. Your thoughts?

If you don't like the XDm...I would go for it. I love my SR9c. Great trigger, great accuracy.

The XDm's usually go for about 50% more than the SR9c.

I have both guns and prefer the SR9c. It boils down to which one YOU prefer and if the deal works out. One thing to consider, the price of 9mm ammo is cheaper if you don't reload.

SR9c is around $400 new. XDm's are about $550-600 new. So if the trade involves around $200 cash on top of the SR9c, then its a good trade.

Tried all of the different compact 9mm.s a few years ago and found the SR9c was the best fit for me. I would trade an XDm for an SR9c plus cash.

I also like to shoot the SR over the XD, but both are fine guns.

If you are not a fan of the XD and you like the SR then by all means go for it! I'm an XD fan myself but that's because they fit my hands well... If the SR fits yours then it's a winner!

I went ahead through the deal. I got 100 cash on top of 2 boxes of ball ammo and a box of Winchester rangers along with a serpa holster. He lost the 10 rounder so he ordered me a second 17 round mag with the sleeve so I feel like I came out on top.
