I finally got the chance to take my XDs .45 to the range after getting it back from Springfield after having the recall performed.

I was initially not happy with the trigger, but I dry fired it with a snap cap about 300-400 times before hitting the range. It really smoothed out well.

I don't know if it because the trigger breaks a lot more crisply than it used to, but I can shoot my XDs a lot more accurately than I used to before the recall.

I shot 100 rounds of Speer Lawman 230 fmj through it, and 20 rounds of Barnes TacXPD 185gr +P jhp, which is my carry round. The XDs was 100% reliable and very accurate. Overall, I am very pleased with it.

Here were some of my groupings at 7 yards unsupported. I circled individual groups in blue using MS Paint

Being a smaller version of the "M", it sure appears to group well enough. Between the two post it seems as though you enjoyed yourself.

Yeah, I had a great time. I also shot my Ruger SP101 DAO for the first time since getting it back from being Cerakoted, and my first couple of groups were about 6" at 7 yards lol.:D

Once I was familiar with where the trigger would break, I shot it better. Overall I had a great time. My fiance shot the XDm pretty well, and even shot some full power 357 loads out of the SP101, her first time shooting a .357, and she did great with it.

The trigger break is a LOT more crisp, and I prefer it even though the overall trigger pull is heavier

By the way, I pull those grip adapters off the 7 round magazines. They carry just like 1911 magazines for spares and function great.
