Well, I finally was able to get to the range to break in my new XDs yesterday and am Extremely happy with it!

All shots were taken at ten yards using "Shoot N See" targets.

I started off with 25 rounds of 230 gr Sellier & Bellot FMJ bullets to get the gun warmed up. Zero issues. Gun fires about 2" low left of point of aim...probably my fault.

Then I switched over to 230 gr LRN reloads. I shot 50 rounds without any hiccups...

Next I shot 100 rounds of 230 gr JHP reloads and only had 3 failure to feeds...2 from my son's girlfriend limp wristing and once from my wife who did the same, so I don't really count them.

I finished up with another 25 rounds of the Sellier & Bellot FMJ bullets to compare with how I started....No issues.

200 rounds of mixed bullets and, in my opinion, no issues...love it!:D

The cardboard backing for the target had a grapefruit sized hole missing after it was all said and done!

Inspecting the gun after the shoot, the gun was pretty sooty after shooting 150 rounds of reloads over Unique powder. Especially from the LRN bullets.:barf:

Overall I am ECSTATIC over the performance of this gun! I isn't a target pistol by any stretch of the imagination but for a CC handgun in .45ACP it will get the job done! I feel confident that this gun will serve me well as my primary carry weapon!:D:D

Maybe, maybe not. My biggest gripe about the XDm is that the factory-installed sights typically aren't zeroed correctly, but it didn't bother me too much as I just had night sights installed and the gunsmith did the work.

At 10 yds, 2" low left on a man size ctr of mass isn't worth worrying about! The sight radius is only 5.25" so I'm not complaining!
