Sorry guys, I know...you most likely had 10 billion of these threads, and if I make anyone sick of hearing this, sorry!
I am planning on buying a AR-15 lower in September. Most likely to be matched with the Del-Ton 16" Mid-Length Rifle Kit. Of which I have a few questions.
On the kit, is it "mostly assembled", or it is a package of parts that will require a fair amount of assembly. (EDIT Never mind, I see that they are prebuilt - YES )
Secondly, what do you recommend for lowers, I am partial to the Cav arms to help support them with their issues. But I was wondering what are other good brands as well that go with the Del-Ton Kit.
Also, would it be better for the first time to just buy a pre-built lower and then a pre-built upper to avoid any problems? on a scale of 1-10 on the skill of building things, i would put me at a 4.
Edit: Also, what is the lead times from ordering to getting the lower from some of the manufactures?
Thanks, hope i didn't make anyone too sick if I repeated something that has been gone over 10 billion times.
