Yes, I went ahead and got another one - I have a serious Beretta purchasing problem :)

This one came with factory night sights and a 3rd magazine

Someone is sending me a steel trigger, and I will likely buy an Elite II hammer for it. I already installed a D spring in it. I also ordered a Xgrip to use fullsize grips in the compact...

I really don't need a compact 92...but I kinda NEED a compact 92:D

Love it.

Just curious, what are those marks? I've seen it on several of your Berettas. At first I thought they might be wear from a particular holster, but these two are so identical they could almost be from a steel stamp.

Very nice looking gun. I have always considered a Beretta as a necessity in ones collection, unfortunately, I have always found other things to spend money on. I just love the idea of owning something from a company that is over 400 years old.

Next weekend, I should have a new Wheel picture. I will be getting some new grips on for my Wilson Brig. Then I will take the newer photo :)

I should have known better when I said "the Wheel is now complete" with your last acquisition. Super nice 92FS Compact; I can see why you're needing a new Wheel photo.

That's a good-looking gun. I've never handled a compact; how would you assess them relative to the full-size models (bearing in mind my point of reference is the M9?)

Well, I haven't had a chance to shot this yet - I shot a ton of 5.56 rounds yesterday - and that was expensive.

But, I have owned two non railed compacts in the past. I usually put Hogue grips on all my 92 models - but the ones for the compact are fatter than the hogue grip panels for the fullsize. Made the gun too fat for my hand.

I did kinda miss having a compact, though. And to me - that little railed Beretta looks so cool. With the checkering, I can probably survive with the factory grips on this gun. So, this will be the first time I don't switch grips on a 92.

As for how the compacts shoot - the two I had in the past shot fine. The gun and sight radius are a little smaller, but it's still a 4.25" gun. So, it shoots about the same, honestly.

Hahah, thanks. I really think I am good, though. There is nothing else out I want right now...

Now, no one knows yet exactly what the 3rd Wilson Beretta will be when it is released some time later this year. Supposed to be something with a frame safety. If it's not over $1500, then I'll have to find a way to afford it

That's the onlyw ild card for me :D

Nice man! You need an addiction counselor huh? ;)

I saw the Wilson compact and wanted one. But I'm going to wait to see what the last release is that you mentioned. I may be broke as hell all year....... Again

Thanks :)

Well, I don't think the Wilson is worth like 2x the price - especially with no night sights on that compact they are selling

Oh fer cripes sake!

I completely missed that and jumped right to the "another sumpin I don't know about" angle.

What a Homer moment.

Todd.

We are ALL anxiously awaiting the new "WHEEL". :D

I need to do a "Wheel of CZ's" LOL! And copy Shipwreck!

Thanks :)

I agree. I didn't see the same value as with the Brig Tac.

I think you got a better value here. That's a sharp pistol.

Miked7762, do you mean the white marks near the muzzle? I think that is how Beretta "stamps" their front Trijicon sight since there is not enough space on the sight itself. If you look at it, it's identical to the marks on the rear sight.

Yes, it is the trijicon date code.

Also have it on this one:
