Suspect sought in road rage hatchet attack
Anoka County sheriff's investigators are searching for a driver who got into a road-rage dispute with two men in another vehicle and hit one of them in the head with the back side of a hatchet.
Investigators want to talk with anyone who saw what happened about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday after the driver of a Jeep Cherokee Sport cut in front of a vehicle driving south on Round Lake Boulevard in Coon Rapids, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Office. The victim's vehicle pulled into a UPS Store parking lot at 130th and Riverdale Dr. NW., and the Jeep followed.
Authorities say that as Thomas J. Woods, 31, of Bethel, got out of his car's passenger side, the driver of the Jeep hit him several times in the head with the back of the hatchet. Woods, who was with his brother, Shaun Woods, was treated for head injuries at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids and released.
The Jeep was dark blue or black with gold pin-striping and four doors.

What possible reason could you have for exiting your vehicle and approaching the other vehicle besides seeking a confrontation? Ignore/call in bad driving behavior, don't become part of it. No good faith to cover anyones butt here.
