Your biggest/fastest buying spree?....

4 H&R Singles, a .380, and a .22 pistol in a week. I've kept all but one of those guns.

I always tried to buy when I had the cash to spare. Upgraded to a new job 20+ years ago and tried to save one paycheck a month for firearms related hobby stuff. Got into the habit of getting a firearm every month for several years. Now I have slowed down some but there are a LOT of people selling their firearms due to the economy and needing that payment to be made. So I will make a fair trade and we are both happy. You know when you have enough firearms when you have to build on to your house just to store them.:p

About a week before the '08 election.
Two ARs. Two Sigs, S&W PC 586 L-comp

Two Dillon reloaders and 25,000 primers in Large pistol, Small pistol and Magnum
5,000 bullets each of 45, 357/38, 9mm, 40, 44 Mag
Die sets for 45 ACP, 44 Mag, 357 Mag, 9mm, 40 S&W
LOTS of powder, WW231, Unique, 2400, bullseye
Lots of defensive ammo from Federal, Hornady, Speer

Smartest thing I've done, all the prices are much higher now

10 cap-and-ball revolvers, two flintlock rifles, and a muzzleloader barrel for my Encore since April of this year. Traded away three of the revolvers as parts of other deals.

I've been buying, building, trading, and selling guns for only about 3 years, but my total "ownership" tally of individual firearms is somewhere around 65, give or take one. So at 20+ per year, I guess my whole firearms lifestyle is a spree, haha

The period of time between Clinton's first election and his taking office in January. Bought 100,000 primers, hundreds of pounds of powder, thousands of rounds of brass, Springfield M1A Supermatch and several dozen other firearms. Turned out to be a false alarm but when Obummer took office there wasn't a single thing I needed to buy so I missed out on all the panic and shortages that took place then.

iv bought 6 guns since may, in the last 30 days i bought 4. a 1874 mkII martini henry, 1890 gew88, 1908 brazilian mauser and a type 99 arisaka.

I "relinquished" my type 01 FFL in Dec. '95. I made one purchase from one distributor of $4500 and 2 smaller $2K from 2 other distributors. Since my bound book went away the next month, I can only guess I bought about 20 guns in a week. Took quite awhile to pay off the credit card. Joe

It's been almost a year since I took up shooting.
In the past 9 months I've purchased:
Springfield Stainless Loaded 1911 .45ACP
Norinco CQ-A (AR-15 M4 style 14.5"bbl)
HK P30-L V3 9mm(D/A-S/A)
Simonov SKS
Savage 10BA .308

I've also purchased a Lee Single Stage press and a Hornady LnL AP Progressive with case and bullet feeders plus a whole bunch of other reloading equipment.

All I need now to complete the year is an annealing machine and a Thumler Model B wet tumbler.

Bought 8 in one day, mix of long guns and handguns. Take that back, bought 7 and one was delayed. Not sure what happened to get delayed? All of them had a 4473 form.

I bought two guns at one gun show this year, and that is as fast as I've ever bought guns. I'll be buying at least three next year, and that'll be the most I've ever bought in that time span.

A few years ago I had a totally unexpected large wind fall a few days before the years premier gunshow. I borrowed my wiife's car and headed out, mine was broke. On the way hers broke down. I knew I would never get to the gun show unless I bought a new car, so I did. I bought four guns none of which I have today but my daughter still drives that car.

Well I finally got twelve out of my twenty Kidz to sit still long enough today for a little family portrait..... :D

Whoops, make that seventeen. Just bought this girl about 5 minutes ago.
Sounds as if someone has an economic stimulus package that is actually working. Thank you, sir, for doing your part. :)

(anyone know of a good divorce attorney? I may be needing one soon....)
Or your wife may view you as a "shovel-ready project". :) Keep an eye over your shoulder.
