Your favorite "around the house" gun?

I rotate between my Glock 30 or Sig 220ST. Both have an M3 tac light attached. It would be the 1911 if I could get a tac light attached to them. Anyone here know of any good aftermarket light rail out there for the 1911?

my 1911 used to be my around the house gun but now since im lazy ordering some parts that need replaceing its my 4 in police positive in .38 spec because i know without a doubt it will work every time.

House Gun?

My SP101 with the FBI load in my bedroom and my Mak in my living room. Also have a Beretta Cheetah stashed in my kitchen although I'm not certain why

Well mine isn't really a "around the house" gun since it just stays in one spot usually.

My "stays in one spot in the house" gun is a Colt NRM Government.

I keep the Ruger KP89 near my bed, and since I'm in my room most of the time it works just fine. I figure the housemates would get wierded out if I wore it around the house. Even worse if I kept my New Army Cap'n Ball loaded and holstered at my side... might be interesting though.

Not Hesitant To Ask

I've heard of "Street Sweepers." Supposably this weapon holds many shotgun shells and is available for purchase. Perhaps a variation anyway. It has a drum like magazine.

Anyone hear of this item? That's something I'd like around the house.

Lately my around the house gun is a 4 inch single shot 45/410. 000 buck in the chamber nother in pocket with a slug and 2 hand loads of colt.
