There was an anniversary issue of Amerian Handgunner out a month back that addressed the 10mm. Did that ever take off? You sound happy with yours.

Looked at your post again and it answered my question! Guess if Glock has it out..it did!

Thanks

Inside the house it is my EDC gun, Taurus 651, with more pistols, revolvers, and long guns laying about. Outside, a S&W 28-2 Highway Patrolman. I love that big honkin' N-frame on my belt when mowing the lawn. Had a car load of "urbans" stop while I was mowing last month and ask for directions. They got that :what: look when they finally noticed. Also, I like the 28 becuase I live across from the local school and it makes the local Barney Fifes :fire: . Just my way of saying :neener: .

Daily home carry

At home, I carry 24/7, even when in the shower. I usually have my G17 (strapped on clothes, or on the ledge showering). I have with me at all times, at the very minimum, at least 3 high capacity magazines, loaded with hollow point +P+ rounds. I prefer the Glock so if it ever falls into the drink. Of course the vault is close by with some awesome back-up if needed.

My "Oklahoma State Cowboys Glock 23". I don't carry it outside the house - might get confused with a toy!

Carry pistol at home and about

Beretta .22 with quick shock ammo, at home, at work, in the car, in my pocket. The bullets make a devastating wound and I can hit anything I point it at It is always easy to get off a few rounds of practice here in Idaho, and practice is what really matters. A .50 Bmg might be a good carry gun for effect, but can you hit what you shoot at.

If I had to choose a pistol it would be my Colt Defender XSE. If I had to pick a rifle it would be my Socom II.If i had to pick a shot gun it would be my Mossberg 500 12ga loaded with buckshot and a pistol grip I put in place of the stock

My 9mm doesn't go outside much, but I can knock a fly out of the air at 100 yards with it blindfolded... :D

...and it's as reliable as it could possibly be.

Ithaca 12 ga. pump w/ 20" barrel.

When you work the slide the only two sounds you generally hear, in rapid succession are:

1. The sound of someone crapping in their drawers (along with a bad smell in the air) . . .

2. The sound of a pair of Nikes pounding out the door!

If the Ithaca ain't close:

Kimber Ultra CDP w/ nightsights or a bevy of other handguns.

A pocket-sized, aluminum framed snub is generally in my pocket too . . . or a Kel-Tec .32.
