Your favorite gun daydream

One day I went to the range. Hung up my computer-generated target - bull's eye type, with 2" red circle in the center. Picked up my gun, aimed... and hit dead center of the red circle (s&w m19, 4" bbl, using 38spl). The range officer happened to be behind me at that moment and saw it. With a really astonished voice he asked, "did you really hit dead center with the first shot?!?!..." shook his head, sighed, and walked away lol.

Did that once, for real, back in the mid-60's when in college. Went to the local range, set up my target a 100 yards, they provided I think 25 yard pistol targets for everything.

Sat down at the bench with my Win mod 70 featherweight 30-06, fired one shot and centered the x in the x ring. I walked down, picked up my target, packed up and went home.

Hey, can I play? :)

My favorite fantasy of late is Kel-Tec making an AK for their lineup.

I've had that happen to me a couple of times over the years. Might as well quit 'cause it's going to do nothing but go downhill from there.:D:neener:

Buying a huge chunk of land (100 acres?), and turning it into a personal shooting paradise, only to be shared with the chosen/invited few.

California stopping the lead free joke, allowing full autos, allowing cans, allowing 10+ mags, and bringing the bull elk tag on tejon ranch down from 20k to 20 dollars.

Somebody like Ruger, Smith or Taurus making a decent concealable 5 shot snubnose in .44 spl

I like this idea but I would also add one in .45 ACP that is a compact frame like the old Taurus model 455 (out of production) with a two inch barrel.

You ARE dreaming! :)

I definitely would not hold Taurus on the same level as the other two, that's for sure!
