Ok- gun fans..
Just what is YOUR Favorite "Tales of the Gun' Episode.
For a list ... go here..
History Channel Store - TOFG Looks like there are 50 of them - am I right?
I'll start..
Mine is 'Infamous Guns' - I guess I just like history and learning about the people that changed it and what those changes led to. Although the PEOPLE are the ones that commited the act. They do portray it as such. Neat to see the arms that were used.
Then it has to be "Million Dollar Guns" cool stuff.. they used to really go all out for the Kings and Czars and such...
Next?

Definitely "Guns of Browning". In fact I think I might watch it again tonight.

By the way, not to bring up a sore subject (for some) but these are the tapes that the NRA mails out to solicit donations (see current thread on the subject). You buy the tape for an inflated price and in turn, you are making a donation to the NRA. I have about a dozen of these tapes and really enjoy them. I know that they are often shown on The History Channel, but I enjoy supporting the NRA Political Victory Fund and get the tape to watch at my leisure as a bonus.

SUPER GUNS OF TODAY AND TOMORROW..

If this is the one with the 2 minute long blurb on the "pol-eee-mire" H&K G36, then this one is my favorite.

I'd be a whole lot happier if they made one exclusively on Heckler & Koch! :banghead: :(

Gosh ive seen so many of them and never knew the name of any of them tho.... Did like the guns of browning now that i know the name...but they are great shows for wasteing a night on the couch.

Like them and the Sniper series they just put out....mainly cause the time the Mosin got :D.....And made me really want an Enfield....

Mine would have to be an episode about WWII heros. There was one Marine that was defending a hill all by himself. He was running from machine gun to machine gun firing each one so the enemy would think the hill was protected by a whole squad. OORAH!

Definately: "The Guns of Mauser"

I've watched it over and over. I just can't get over the genius of Mauser in making that bolt action rifle!

Pretty sure they have one on military guns, that would be my favorite if so. If not then it would be a tie between the Russian Military one and the M16 one.

I liked the "Gangster Guns of the 20s & 30s" and "U.S. Guns of World War II", but man I didn't know there were so many episodes. I've seen quite a few of them two or three times, but I don't think I've even seen half of the total.

German guns of WWII

Guns of Israel was pretty cool too, as was 'Guns that won the West'...or whatever it was called

Overall I like all the segments. The German Guns of WWII wins by a hair, but only because of the part about the U.S. Army making a training film to try to convince U.S. recruits that the MG42 sound is worse than its bite. That was too funny.

Mine has to be the one on the Lugars, esp. the .45 ACP one made for our military to test, and the show about the Thompson SMG. That Thompson is one sweet firing SMG.
