first one ever....what?

shot: Mossburg target rifle 22 cal.

owned: Remmy 870 pump 12 ga

blew up: S&W 357

Melted: M2 Browning 50 cal.

First one I ever owned, that I still have, had it for a couple of years:

Yugo M59/66 SKS. Not the greatest choice for a first gun, but when I bought, I didn't know a whole lot about guns. I don't necessarily regret it, but I coulda done better.

First handgun: ????

First shot: Probably my dad's 9mm Ruger P-something or other or possibly the Hi-Point 9mm carbine he sold a short time ago.

Browning Buck Mark Standard Stainless URX .22. Purchased just a week and a half ago. Wonderful firearm so far.

Springfield (Savage) bolt-action .22 single shot, 120A,
Christmas gift 1961 (I was thirteen). When Dad took me to
the old homeplace in the country, I loved shooting cans
from the age of six, and started hunting with Uncle Ed and
his dog Henry when I was fourteen.

Remington Pump .22

First one I bought myself GI Colt 1911 made in 1918. Then I went crazy we don't have enough time for me to list the rest.

The first gun that was mine (dad bought it for me when I was 10) was a Win Model 120 Youth 20 ga. Still have it.. looking for an adult stock since I like it so much and want to still use it.

First gun was a Stevens 311D 16ga. SxS. My grandfather bought it while living in Laurel, MD during the riots. Infact he had two of them, but the other was passed off to my dad, and he still has it.

First gun I ever bought with my own money was a CAI M1 Garand.

I still have both, and dont plan on gettin' rid of either.

First gun I ever owned was (and still is) an 1878 Borchardt patent Sharps sporter rifle, in 45-70. The mark on the barrel says "old reliable", now it's almost 130 yrs old, and just as reliable as the day it was made.

Counting BB guns, I had a Daisy lever action. Then I bought a Marlin bolt-action .22 S/L/LR from a neighbor in a garage sale...$5.00! What a deal. I miss that old rifle.

My Winchester Model 1906 22 pump - Expert model. My dad gave it to me when I was 12 as his dad had given him the gun when he was 12. I have had the gun now for over 44 years.

My dad gave me a Winchester .22 bolt-action single-shot rifle with a cut-down stock when I was 7. You had to pull back the striker to cock it, and the safety was a big ol' steel ring with a tab that you turned to block a peg on the striker. It was VERY safe--you had to do a lot of work to fire it.

It was probably a Winchester model 67A. I have one in my gun cabinet.:D

Ruger Mark III 22/45 a few months ago. The next one, not surprisingly, was a 1911--a Kimber Custom II.

1. Red Ryder BB Gun
2. Remington 66 - 22
3. Colt Woodsman - 22
4. 1897 Winchester -12 Ga.
then the Army gave me a 1911 colt and a Colt M-16...then my favorite
XM177E2....it was over then I had become a....can you say this ??
>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GUN NUT !!!!!!!!>>>>>>>>>>> of course now I don't
own any Guns Did you know those things are Dangerous !! LOL LOL
Just kidding that was my attempt at Humor !!!

I got a Daisy Powerline 880 for my 12th birthday. My friend gave me his Marlin 783 two years or so ago, still haven't gotten to shoot it yet though...

First firearm owned was Stevens Savage side by side 20ga. Still have it too.

First firearm fired was a .22 Ruger Single Six IIRC, either that or a Sterling .22
Both were brought to the range not sure which was fired first (26 years ago).

A Kroydon .22 pump... Never heard of them at all. Still have it in the closet almost 30 years and a lot of squirrels later. One of these days I'll have to research it.
