Your Handgun Choice

This may sound crazy to some of you, but this one....

It's very accurate and has an excellent trigger.
It's also extremely comfortable to shoot.
And I can use the 17 round magazine.

FN fiveseven flat fast and accurate, unless I had to bust anything then it would be 44 magnum desert eagle accurate with range.

I don't own it anymore but I think that I would prefer the FNP-9. I was the most accurate shooting handgun that I've ever owned, I think.

For say 0-50 yards and no idea of parameters of the competition I would choose my HK USP.

Well, I have far less choice owning a grand total of only 4 handguns. Feeling quite inadequate after reading another post by a guy with 83 handguns.

I'll go with my Ruger MKIII -- you only said I have to hit the target, not kill it. Actually, a .22 would seem to have all the power needed for events they've recently done like busting dinner plates and glass bottles.

I'd take my glock 19. As of late, I've had the most practice with it. Man it stinks saying that...I'm a 1911 guy!

Kimber Tactical Entry II in .45 acp. Classic 1911 in an exceptionally well-made platform. Feels like an extension of my hand, very manageable recoil, more accurate that me. Second choice would be my S&W M&P .40 with CTC grips.

I dont think anyone said you have to own the gun since the show is providing one but if you do I would have to retract the 44 desert eagle since sadly I dont own one.

An old 1959 Colt Government Model that's been lightly customized to fit my taste. Back in my competition days I kept a journal and logged 20,000 rounds without a malfunction except for one bad reload. That was a case that cracked and left a piece of brass in the chamber, preventing another round from chambering.

That GM is well worn but still as reliable as my Glocks with a much superior trigger at an even 4# with no creep or over travel. It's more accurate than I can see any more so it will hit anything I can see to hold on.

A familiar and reliable old friend that I have complete confidence in.
Dave
