230 gr Gold Dot to the hip then run.

If I have two shots, one to Mr. Vorhees' hip, the other to my friend's knee, I only have to out run my friend......

Black Bear Magnums are very nice rounds. But a tad smoky.

Regarding the other poster who commented on my slow mileage, that is one reason I got out of it. My competition only had to hold on long enough for me to tire LOL. I did put the endurance mindset to good use running 2400 miles without a break at times during work.

I'd let him get closer, too, and then I'd hit him center mass with a Wolf 7.62X25 hollowpoint. Whether it's from my CZ 52s or my Tok, those things are crazy destructive.

PS: It's the beastiest handgun round I have and after shooting 4000+ rounds of surplus, I've gotten pretty good with it.

Bofors 40mm, just hope I can drop the elevation enough to hit him :neener:

Otherwise, I agree with LoneStar - 12 gauge slug to chest. Shatter the sternum, obliterate the mediastinum, rupture the heart AND probably crush the thoracic spine. A good hit, he can't help but go down....

Unless he's running fast enough that inertia will propel the corpse forward on to you, and the sharp pointy stick he's carrying punctures something vital :what:

Sorry, I'm not going to be any fun and answer a question that will never happen. If anyone asks me why, please PM me and remind me to come back to this thread to explain. Before that, though, THINK about WHY this scenario will NEVER happen. NEVER. ugh.

A S&W 629 loaded with .44 spl hollow points. I never have shot a handgun more accurate than a 629 44 mag loaded with 44 special round(s). I would aim for the chest and hit it.

4" model 19, with 158 grain Speer Gold Dot 357. Placement.....for the one shot, his adams apple.

For the two shots, 4" model 19 with two........wait.....I don't need them. That 158 grain took his melon off. :)

ChCx2744, come on, it's just a bit of fun. Like when buddies ask if you would do Lindsey Lohan, the answer is irrelevent because it ain't likely to happen.

Speaking of which, which handgun should Wile E. Coyote use to kill the Roadrunner? I'm thinking because of the speed of the target and it's relative low body mass, a high cap 9mm would probably be ideal. :)

454cat, center of chest.--------both arms and head pop off.
pick up macheti, chop off legs and take with me.
2nd shot is saved for whatever i see while moving at mach 3 away from cutie pie that can now only move with adominal wiggles.

Why can't I shoot him in the head? That's a silly rule. I'm not obeying it.

Whatever single-shot I have available, I'm shooting him in the head with it. Center Of Eyebrow. If it's a less accurate gun, I'll wait 'til he gets close enough, then shoot him in the head with it. If I have to duck the machete and butt-stroke him in the teeth with the gun, immediately after that I'll be shooting him in the head with it.

Jeez.

Parker, whose next post will include:

You can't shoot the machete.

You can't use your right index finger to squeeze the trigger.

You have to slap your left ear twice, wave one foot in the air and cluck like a chicken before you shoot him.

By that time, no matter what gun you're packing, he'll be close enough you can shoot him in the head with it.

bfr in .30-30. Nosler partition, center of mass. I am probably going to die at 25y, but Im going to make sure that he has one hell of a time continuing on after the attack.

Now if I get my full mag or cyl,... .38 sp com or 9mm com and I'll keep shooting till he stops.

Come on up to DC. There have been attacks by MS13 with machetes. At 25y, if you don't see him till he is running at you... you might not get more than one or two rounds off. If I have some guy charging me with a machete... I am not trying for a head shot. I can't hit a moving target under stress like that and I would run too much of a risk for innocent bystanders.

I work in an emergency dept for the last seven years that sees about 150 persons per day. I have seen a few GSWs (gunshot wounds). Unless you can definitely hit a bone in the hip or knee, aim for center mass, the middle of the breastbone. The area encased by the ribs is chalk full of important things a human will not live long without. You will at the least collapse a lung, allowing you to run away while the "victim" (another term I hate) gasps for breath, and hopefully you will hit the heart or aorta, causing exsanguination within moments. The facial bones and front of the skull are very dense, and most of the stories you have heard about even large caliber bullets bouncing off the skull are true.

Pelvic girdle/stomach area. Once he drops, run over and beat his head in with the empty handgun like it was a tomahawk. Repeat the strikes as needed until you feel safe to quick hitting him.

One shot? Remington 870 12ga with a nice hefty deer slug to center of mass.

Two shots? Remington 870 12ga with TWO nice hefty deer slugs to center of mass.

If he keeps coming, he DESERVES to win. I'll tip my hat to him (as he decapitates me).

Interesting scenario Sir! :) This IS posted in the handgun section, so I'm going to assume that the post is limited to handguns. ;)

* One shot on Jason Voorhees? I choose a 10" 500 S&W Magnum, and i will place the round just above the collar bone, at the base of the neck.

* Two shots? I still keep the 500 magnum. The first shot will still be to the base of the neck. The second shot will be to the pelvis in order to break the pelvic bone.

Then, I run away screaming like a little girl. :p

Lol, this is why I read THR :D

Count me in for the SW 500.

One shot - chest and run

Two shots - chest + chest, and snap a quick cell phone pic with my foot on his head, and then call everyone I know. :neener:

MS13 is a GROUP. If I see a group advancing on me, Im drawing.

They are active not far from us now trying to make thier graffitti stick. Very violent.

I agree with the ER's Assessment of Center mass sternum Damage. I particularly enjoy the bruised lung problem Bleed out through a million holes just from the impact alone. That particular death was a real possibility during trucking from crush damage to the torso.

If I only got one shot I'd make it for all its worth... a .500 S&W mag. One shot to the chest.

When I've got two shots, .357 magnum. One shot to the neck, and if I miss, one shot COM.
