So about a month ago I got a Yugo m57 in 7.62x25 Tokerav. I love this pistol a lot btw. Well like when I always get a new gun I strip it down clean it up then oil her all up. Well after about three weeks and maybe 70-90 rounds the retainer clamp that holds the slide stop will slide off after three to four rounds. Then I have to reclamp it and its just a real pain. Anyone know how to fix it? Should I just get a new clamp or slide stop or both? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The same thing has happened to both of my Yugo Tokarevs, a M57 in 7.62 and a mod 70A in 9mm . It is a pain in the butt. I don't know if this is common with all Tokarevs or just the Yugos. I haven't tried pinching the retainer clip, but if it is soft enough to respond to pinching, it would probably just loosen up again.
