I am wondering how one finds out what parts on a Century Arms built M70AB2 Underfolder are the 922 compliance parts. Does it vary from build to build, or is this generally the same for all of them?

I did a search in a few manners, but could not come up with a definitive answer.

Basically wondering if some parts get replaced, what MUST be replaced with US made to ensure compliance.

Thanks!

Well, on the newer ones, the handguards look to be definitely US. Otherwise, they get new barrels, new pistol grips, and a G2 trigger group, which in itself accounts for three parts.

Why not call Century and ask directly?

PS: I came across a posting elsewhere that said that compliance was thus:

FCG (3)
Pistol Grip (1)
Barrel (1)
Receiver (1)
Century Compensator (1)

Check for "US" on the parts, I suppose?

+1 on the wood. At least on mine, it was raw, unfinished and definitely not something you'd be handing to troops to go out into the wet and muddy world with.

Spelling "USA" or writing out "Made in the USA" seems to be beyond the monkeys at Century. Their US made parts are marked with a "C".

Just FYI - It's not the same for all of them.

Century had some really good kits near the beginning with great furniture, so they didn't replace the handguards (1 piece)

As the kits got crappier and crappier, they started replacing the wood with plastic.

Here are the "always" parts:

1) Receiver - DCI/NDS, may say Blaine, MN on it. Always marked on the underside of the receiver just forward of the mag well.

2) Pistol Grip - Century "replica" of the Yugo grip. You can spot these because of the thumb indentation on the left side of the grip.

3) Trigger (3 parts) - Tapco, marked G2 US.

4) Barrel - The kits they used all had shot out barrels, so they had Green Mountain do a run of barrels for these kits.

Please note that compliance is met with these parts installed. Here are the "maybe" parts.

Handguards - Wood = Yugo, Plastic = US
Slant Brake - probably depends on what they have on hand.
