Zac Brown - Southern Grind knives

I didn’t realize the country music tie-in that’s interesting, but not enough to make me throw $500 at the rhino knife... prices seem out of line but if the quality is there then maybe I guess...

A couple of interesting points -

Camp Southern Ground is a non profit camp for kids that Zac Brown set up and profits from the knife company helps fund it.
The company is set up in Peachtree City, Georgia and brings jobs to an area that didn't have a history of knife manufacturing.
Mr. Brown is involved, but he's not a knife maker himself.

Not my style, but I applaud his very generous military and first responder discount. I can’t remember seeing a 35% discount anywhere else.

I carry a Spider Monkey as my "going out" knife. Its carbon fiber scales and the standard sv35n blade. I like it of course, only things I yearn for it to be a flipper on bearings and maybe a deep carry clip.
