I absolutely adore this little .32 I've acquired. Slim, relatively light, decent capacity, reliable. Anyone else have something similar that they appreciate that others may not ?
It's not a pocket .32 like most made today are, but it's not a big chunk like the Beretta 81 is, so the Zastava is very much the sweet spot for a .32 ACP.
I appreciate the Phoenix .22 more tho because at $130 the only flaw is the Zamak metal. All the safeties are easily altered, the magazine release safety is fixed by removing the safety switch and filing off the tab that block the mag release button from being fully depressed and releasing the mag, the mag discconect safety is deactivated using a paper shim, the firing pin safety you just never engage. People will still complain about having to do that work, but they have no complaints about tearing an SP101 apart to replace springs and add shims when that Ruger costs $650. At $130, I can accept spending 15 mins and $0 to make the Phoenix better, but at $650 plus the cost of springs and shims and 45 minutes to do the work, I can't.
