I sent a private message to 9mmepiphany (moderator of that sticky) Friday night on same subject. He says it looks like the site is completely gone. I wish I had saved that pdf when I had the chance. Live and learn.

First Mr. Camp and now him. We've lost too many great resources on gun knowledge this year.

I applaud the efforts of those trying to keep that great wealth of information alive.

Bill Goforth as well, the expert of all things Iver Johnson and Herrington & Richardson passed away earlier this year too. Bad year for great gun experts.

The Mouseguns site had alot of useful information and his reviews were really informative too. Mousegunner as we knew him on the BJJA forums was a great guy and his site contained a plethora of knowledge.

I'm glad that it has been preserved as well, luckily he gave some advance warning that the site would be going down because of his condition and gave people plenty of time to save his site. It really is too bad that things worked out the way they did, I wish he'd overcome his battle with cancer but unfortunately it is a difficult thing to do.

Too bad they didn't catch it sooner, I believe that they thought it was just a cold and then pneumonia at first, only later did they determine that it was cancer.

With Marshall's permission, I preserved mouseguns.com in its' entirety on my site/server.

Here is the link to the preserved mouseguns.com : mouseguns.com
He gave everyone permission to download the site and use it for reference if they wanted to. Glad so many people saved it, it is a really good resource.

Kiln,

You are correct: He did give permission but some may not be aware of it so I wanted to make it clear to everyone that this was on the "up and up". Also, most do not have the tools or possibly the knowledge on how to preserve it. I was fortunate enough to the server space, etc. to do so. My site has a fairly high ranking too so it will be easier for folks to find Marshall's work in searches.

A little good news for those interested:

I am now the owner of www.mouseguns.com as granted by Mousegunner's family. Now his work should provide resource for years to come. Enjoy :)
