Ar Questions and price check. many pictures

I know we hate price checks, but I'm out of my league here.
I am helping a family friend to price, and sell some of their recently passed away Fathers collection.

There are six AR's, four rifle, carbines, and one AR pistol.
Four of the AR's, and the pistol have pre-ban five digit serial number PWA lowers.
One is either in a build or has been used for parts. The lower is complete but the upper is missing the bolt, and fore arm grip.

And one of the carbines is a Olympic lower.
These are not new, but are in good to very good condition.

I know that you can't tell from a picture, but all I'm asking for is a general price, and any other information you can offer.

hate to say it, but they're not worth much in non-ban states. no idea what they're worth in some ban state. in any event, this is not really a good time to try to sell ARs. You're probably better off keeping them for a few years.

Unless there are some out of the ordinary parts on them prices are $600 to $800 unless you're in a ban state like taliv said.

I was thinking between $600 to $750. Go to AR15.com forum, might get better response.

Like you said, it's hard to put a definite price on these fine rifles. However, speaking for me and only me, I can rate them in order of desirability.

#1 for me would be the 16" HBAR with the M4A1 stock. I would pay up to $900 for this gun depending on vintage and manufacturer.

#2 for me would be the 20" rifle with fixed handle, photo #3. I like the classic simplicity of it.

#3 would be the one with the fake(?) suppressor.

#4 would be the 20" one with the triangle hand guard. It would move up a notch if it was a slick side. the FA kinda ruins the whole mystique it has going on.

#5 would be your first photo. has lots of promise.

and finally, #6 would be the pistol. An AR pistol is a cool novelty but is kinda useless in the real world outside of SPECOPS.

I'm going to second a previous poster; the market for AR15's is pretty thin.

I own an Obamacraze Bushmaster AR15 that, after taxes, ran me about $1100.

EOTech 511, $300 (and that was a steal!), KAC rail system for $150, nice sling and buttstock, etc. I could MAYBE get $1100 for the entire package, if I struggled.

Personally, OP, I would just hang onto them for a couple of years. Or you could use one or two as plinkers. I would love to have a few AR15's to shoot "care-free."

Between the poor economy and the AR glut now is not a good time to sell them. That can change if the FED tries to restrict fire arm ownership. I would just hold them for now.
