Just so that everyone understands, there is more misunderstanding and misinformation about switchblades than guns and the most common one is that all switchblades are banned everywhere.

Each state has it's own laws on possession and carry. Some have no restrictions while others prohibit anyone from having switchblades. Some states allow you to possess them, but not carry them, while others allow you to carry them as long as they're not concealed. Others only allow you to carry them if you have a carry permit for your gun. Check the individual state's law before you decide what to do.

Within the confusing mess of state knife laws are the equally confusing mess of local laws. Some municipalities restrict/prohibit possession and/or carry even when the state permits it. Again, check the individual local laws before you decide what to do.

The State of California allows you to possess and carry a folding knife of any blade length, but will not allow you to possess a switchblade if it has a blade 2" or more in length! Go figure.

"Ha! Kevin carries the same knife I do."

Mine came from Home Depot and has actually been an excellent knife for $9. After breaking two $$ Kershaws and losing* a $$ Buck I'd had since I was little, I decided to just start carrying something that didn't matter and was easily replaceable.

* I know where it is, but I can't see it or get to it. :banghead:

What I carry everyday.....sometimes throw in a surefire + MP3 player into the mix.

My work won't allow carry, but state law allows us to keep it in the vehicle locked up on their property.

The radio is an Icom 2m/440 ham rig I carried today as the weather was a little nasty and I'm also a Storm Spotter.

The wallet is a "manpurse" I picked up at an AAFES store a couple years ago. It's worn around the neck under your shirt, keeps the ID and credit cards a little more difficult to steal.

I've carried the Kershaw since 2002 and use it almost every day.

rhemp, your P35 is beautiful. I keep looking at that pic, I so want that handgun. I wish I could just walk into a gun shop and buy that exact same pistol.

If you have any idea where I could find one similar to yours, please drop me a PM.

I find it interesting to note that not everyone seems to carry a reload. Either that or they just forgot to picture it. I'm just wondering why?

I always carry at least one full reload for whatever I'm carrying. The reason is because you never know what may happen if you actually need your gun to defend yourself, you just may need that extra ammo.

Mine
