I would probably politely decline to answer. There is no way to know exactly who is calling when i answer and for all i know it could be someone planning to rob my house and wanting to know if i am armed. And even if it is for a legitament reason its a matter of my privacy.

Is that one of those polling places that calls only landlines? If it is they wouldn't call me anyway. They'd probably also be polling mostly older people if they only call landlines, a lot of younger people like myself and the wife don't have landlines these days.

How many firearms do I have in my home? As many as I can, and counting.

And when you want 'em, you get 'em all, bullets first. And I'm a damn good shooter that reloads, so it may take awhile. No surrender. Ever. History has confirmed that an unarmed populace is at the will of the government or other entity. And the way I see it, you come for my firearms, you become the enemy, regardless of the patch or badge you wear, so bear that in mind.
