This forum has experienced a great loss, but I have no doubt the world is a better place because he was here. I'm very sorry to hear this.

I haven't spent much time on THR lately and saw this today.
There are perhaps a half dozen contributors whose post I read with care. RC was near the top of that list.
Prayers for the family.

You never know what the other guy is going through. Something to remember next time we have a complaint about something minor. My Mom is in a memory care unit now, but she's 95 going on 96. I took care of her these last 8 years, but there comes a point where you can't, "especially a man with his mother", it's rough and I kind of know first hand the toll he went through on a daily basis. The hardest thing to do is watch a loved one forget you,and everything else, God rest his soul.

Sad news. He answered many of my questions.

Yeah, I remember a few times thinking, I wish RC would chime in on this one, and he would and I'd think to myself, 'sweet.'

There are those on the THR that you learn to trust and have confidence in their advise. RC was one of the best. I miss your posts. Rest In Peace.

I'm sorry to read this. I really didn't know RC but have read some of his posts on this forum and other forums. My condolences to his family and friends.

It is a sad day that I learn of RC's passing. He was a gentleman and an all around good guy. I will miss him and his writings. RC, thank you for the knowledge and experience in how to be a good person as well.

As with Stephen Camp, this is a sad shock. Like so many I'll miss rcmodel, my prayers to his family and may he Rest In Peace.

I will remember him as a gentleman who willingly shared a lifetime of learning. Rest In Peace RC

I feel like I lost something with his passing, even though this is only the Internet....
I can't imagine the great impact he had on the lives of those he actually lived with!

Good guy, even headed and very informative. He'll be missed.

Wow! Haven't logged on in quite a while and now I see this. RC would always answer your questions no matter how dumb they may have been. He would do so without making you feel stupid or silly. A great guy has passed on and the world is a sadder place without him. Condolences to his family.

I have been away from THR for a very long time. I am greatly saddened to learn on my first day back that we have lost one of the greatest posters of all time on THR. Thank you RC Model wherever you are for the wit and wisdom you provided all of us.
